We support a variety of consulting efforts for our health care business and organizations. Some of the more common activities include: strategic planning, requests for proposals, needs assessments, system selections, workflow analysis and mapping, system design and redesign, device selection, standards and interoperability strategy and implementation, roadmap planning for maintenance and optimization, clinical documentation design and evaluation, infrastructure support and program/product management.

iCare Nursing Solutions works with health care organizations, hospitals, practices, businesses, vendors and any other client that has a demonstrated need for nursing, healthcare, health IT and informatics related professional expertise. Our clients have ranged in size from small businesses to large private and publicly held vendor organizations. The hospitals and practices we support also vary in size. Our primary concern is forming a scope of work that meets the desired outcomes of the collective team.

We approach each new client in the same manner. We first seek to understand the client’s needs are and the desired outcome and/or project goal. We also share a bit about iCare with prospective clients. If we both decide to move forward with the project together, the next step is to develop a scope of work and also define responsibilities. With the client, we identify the timeframe and time requirements per week to ensure that the scope of work is achievable within the allotted project time frame.

We do sometimes receive calls from prospective clients who are not exactly sure of the services that would be needed from iCare. However, we work with those clients to discuss the project goals and where the gaps are within their team. Once we understand these factors, we can determine how best to support the needs of the prospective client and define a scope of work.

We support short-term work and long-term work. We have also begun short-term engagements that have led to long-term engagements. We truly work to meet the needs of the client at the time and re-evaluate those needs at appropriate time periods.

iCare Nursing Solutions was founded in response to the growing needs of health care organizations, hospitals, vendors and individual informatics nurses for consulting and educational services. We specialize in understanding the unique needs of our clients and providing them the right information in the right format at the right time to the right people for individual and population level improvements in care.
