 Program Overview: 

Electronic Health Records for the Delivery of Quality Patient Care, is one of a kind with no comparable offering (to our knowledge) in the United States. This program is designed to deliver knowledge and skills to influence future electronic health record (EHR) efforts within one's hospital, company and/or health care organization for the delivery of quality patient care across the life span.

What is Included in the Program: 

Two and 1/2 days of comprehensive education with up to 20 hours of continuing education hours (ANCC), a copy of Electronic Health Records for Quality Nursing and Healthcare, program booklet, supplemental materials provided during the program, breakfast and lunch for 3 days. (Dinner, hotel & parking are not included in the program price).

Program Instructor: Dr. Tiffany Kelley RN

Dr. Tiffany Kelley RN is the founder of iCare Nursing Solutions and Nightingale Apps. Dr. Kelley has 18 years of combined nursing, informatics and overall health care experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Duke University where she studied the information needs of nurses before and after the use of an electronic nursing documentation system. Her pursuit of a Ph.D. came after working at Boston Children’s Hospital on their electronic health record (EHR) implementation project where she saw the need to further understand the use of EHRs on the delivery of quality care. Kelley earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing Administration and MBA from Northeastern University and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University.

Dr. Kelley is the author of Electronic Health Records for Quality Nursing and Health Care and several other peer-reviewed publications. Kelley has taught Informatics graduate students (e.g., Masters and Doctoral) at several universities in the United States (e.g., Northeastern, Fairfield, Duke) and abroad. Additionally, she has worked with Northeastern University and Becker University to review and form the Nursing Informatics curriculum courses. 

Kelley served on the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Board of Directors as an Ex-Oficio member in 2013-2015. She is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the current Chair for ANA of Massachusetts’ Technology Committee. Dr. Kelley is board certified as an Informatics Nurse through the ANCC. In 2017, Kelley was featured as one of the top 100 women of 2017 and one of the top 12 in healthcare.
